The restaurant at this place is really good with a stunning view, and we loved the outstanding dishes we ordered; the clean bathroom had a shower, hairdryers, and soft bath sheets.

Nice and well-kept place. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. The bed is seriously comfy, and the bathroom is good. There's also a storage space in the room and a nice terrace attached. 🌟

Our room had a bathtub 🛁. the hotel was conveniently located, just a short walk away from Heimwehfluh and Wildersville railway stations.

The location is marvellous and in a very quiet area. the staff were all very nice and welcoming and provided great service. - the breakfast had a wide range of selection, and the food was outstanding.

The hotel is not in Interlaken, although very near. During the day the distance may be covered by foot, in a few minutes you will arrive to Interlaken West (Interlaken Oost is the departing point to the mountains, namely to Jungrafujoch). At night, although, it is too dark and the road is narrow, so you must take a cab.The price is about 11 ch.

Friendly staff, decent price (for Interlaken!), comfortable, in the middle of a wooded area so relaxing quiet and nicely out of the way of the main town. Great scenery. By the way, if you're getting the Jungfraubahn (trains up into the mountains), it's a little nearer to walk from the hotel up to Wilderswil (15-20 mins) rather than go to Interlaken as your starting point. I think all the trains from Interlaken East go up through Wilderswil.

One thing to be aware of - the hotel is 15-20 min walk from Interlaken West station. You can get a regular bus to the entrance to the wood (and the bus is free with a card that the hotel gives you), but there is still a 5-10 min walk through the wood which isn't that well lit at night. It worked well for my purposes (just wanted to spend the days in the mountains, and relax somewhere quiet in the evening), but something to beware of if you'll be out late. You can easily get a cab though.

the hotel is well-maintained, has excellent views and marvellous location right by most areas of the bernese oberland and train station and the bridge over the freeway.

Family-owned hotel with a beautiful view of the mountains from the room and balcony. Tranquil surroundings near Seilpark, ideal for a relaxing stay.

The location in a beautiful area was great and wonderful, and it's a 10-15 minute walking distance from Penthai Haus, ate there once or twice. Rewritten: the setting in a gorgeous area was amazing, and it's just a short 10-15 minute walk to Penthai Haus where we dined a couple of times.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this cozy hotel nestled in a beautiful forest with views of the majestic Jungfrau. The staff at Waldhotel Unspunnen were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The room I stayed in was comfortable and modern, and it was cleaned daily. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food at the hotel restaurant. I also appreciated the added perks of free bus rides and a 50% discount on some attractions with the card provided. I had a fantastic experience at Waldhotel Unspunnen.

Not easy to find the way to get there

Fairly clean hotel in an amazing building near to sightseeing and railway as well as Bus Station. Immaculately clean room with a patio and fantastic experience. Very very nice and welcoming staff and quick to respond. Great service with hot cooking.
